1. The shipper warrants that all information is true and correct including name, business name, address and telephone number of consignor and consignee.

2. The shipper warrants that the declared contents and value of shipment are correct and legal items.

3. The shipper warrants that all letters, documents or paper of whatever nature is of no commercial value.

4. NBBT has the right to open and inspect shipments to verify its contents even if items was sealed or closed packages, parcels, boxes or envelopes in the presence of the shipper or authorized representative. If shipper disagrees, NBBT has the right to refuse acceptance of the shipment.

5. Restricted/Prohibited items such as but not limited to the following:

• Illegal drugs like marijuana, cocaine or any synthetic drugs are strictly prohibited and will be reported to narcotic authorities;
• Imitation products that violates Intellectual Property Rights (R.A. 8293);
• Live animals, or agri products that has bad odors;
• Flammable items;
• Items that requires special permits to carry like guns, ammunitions and the likes;
• All other items that violates laws of the Philippines.

6. The shipper is responsible for ensuring that the goods are packaged properly in accordance with their nature so that it can be carried safely with the usual standard of care in handling. However; if the shipper requires packaging assistance, NBBT will charge packaging fee depending on the size of the items.

7. NBBT has contracted 3rd party insurance provider that will provide coverage of the items being shipped at shipper's account, however, if the Shipper opted not to get insurance, NBBT's liability will be limited to the declared value of the items. NBBT shall not be liable for the any other claims such as moral, exemplary, special or other indirect losses & damages.

8. Items that are fragile in nature should be properly labelled and will be carried at the Shipper's or sender's risk with regards to breakage. NBBT will not be responsible for any breakage especially if the shipment was closed/sealed when presented to NBBT.

9. Damages suffered by the goods during transit by reason of accident, force majeure; or by virtue of the nature or defect of the items shall be for the account of the Shipper/Item's owner.

10. Perishable goods will be sent and carried at the Shipper's risk with regards to spoilage. Goods which are perishable in nature will be accepted if it is in good condition and it is packed and labelled properly. Upon arrival in its destination, NBBT will hold the items within twenty (24) hours. If it has not been pulled out within 24 hours upon arrival, NBBT has the right to dispose of the items.

11. NBBT will deliver the shipment within reasonable time upon acceptance of the items (within 2 days on inter-provinces and within 7-12 days on inter-islands). However, NBBT is not liable to the shipper for delayed delivery for the reason caused by bad weather conditions, incorrect address, traffic & infrastructure and the likes.

12. The owner, consignor or receiver shall pull out their items within twenty (24) hours from arrival to its final destination. Beyond twenty four (24) hours, NBBT shall charge a Storage Fee of P100/per item/per day. NBBT has the right to disposed all items that remain unclaimed beyond twenty days (20) whether through auction or sale to recover unpaid storage fee and other expenses.

PERISHABLE, BREAKABLE & ELECTRONIC ITEMS:

13. Perishable items, breakable items & electronic items should always be disclosed by the shipper before weighing the items. NBBT inspectors are required to inspect the condition of the items before acceptance of the items. All moist or wet items are required to be in proper container, sealed if necessary and properly labelled "FRAGILE". NBBT has the right to refuse acceptance of the shipments if it was not properly package or labelled or if the shipper refuse to pay packaging fee if NBBT seems necessary to repacked its items.

URGENT OR FIXED DATE DELIVERY

14. Shipper must inform NBBT if the shipments requires to be at its destination on a specified date or time. Special handling fee will be charged for urgent items that need to be delivered on specific time.

15. NBBT's liability is limited up to the declared value but not over P3,000, if shipments value is over P3,000, the shipper is required to avail insurance to cover for the shipments.
